Please keep in mind the following information:
It is common for us to work later than 7:30 pm on installation days, especially as the opening date approaches. You are welcome to stay later on those days to help out.

On-site training will be provided for the required tasks, so you are not expected to already have these skills. All necessary materials and tools will be provided.

Hours: Please make sure to sign up for each individual shift that you plan to attend. This will help us to accurately record your service hours. It's important for us to have all this information in one place, and it's also essential for grant applications that require our volunteer hours to assess our eligibility for funding.

It is strongly preferred, but not necessary, to be there at the start time of the shift or for the entirety of the shift, but please let us know in the notes when you plan to arrive and leave, even if tentative.

What to wear:
Something you don't mind sweating in or getting dirty, & closed toe shoes! On painting days (Monday and Tuesday), make sure to wear clothes that you are ok getting paint on! Please note if you have long hair we recommend having a way to tie it up so that your hair does not get involved in the paint.

Perks:
-Volunteers get 50% off all cafe items during their volunteer shifts (excluding wine bottles).

-Bring your water bottle, but we have plenty of free water available to volunteers

Number of Volunteers:
If you notice particular days and times that are low on volunteers, please try to choose those times!

**The installation schedule includes specific shift times to improve training and ensure that we have a good idea of volunteer availability. The plan is for volunteers from the previous shift to brief those on the next shift about the tasks and provide instructions on how to complete them. It's best to arrive at the start time of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift so that instructions and training can be given to the whole group instead of individually. If you can't make it at the start time, need to leave early, or can only come for part of a shift, that's absolutely fine! We'd still be grateful for your help at any time you're available.
